An observation is something that you can see or find out using your senses:
Sight
Touch
Hearing
Smell
When making observations, it is important to be specific, giving details and measurements where possible.
To carry out experiments and make observations and inferences.
For each of the activities, carefully read the materials needed and the method.
In your notebook, draw up a table like the one below.
In the right hand column, you will record your observations, using complete sentences.
Use as many senses as possible - sight, touch, smell and hearing - but DO NOT taste any of the chemicals.
